Publisher Description

RITA® Award-winning author Sarah MacLean reveals the identity of The Fallen Angel's final scoundrel in the spectacular conclusion to her New York Times bestselling Rules of Scoundrels series . . .

By day, she is Lady Georgiana, sister to a duke, ruined before her first season in the worst kind of scandal. But the truth is far more shocking—in London's darkest corners, she is Chase, the mysterious, unknown founder of the city's most legendary gaming hell. For years, her double identity has gone undiscovered . . . until now.

Brilliant, driven, handsome-as-sin Duncan West is intrigued by the beautiful, ruined woman who is somehow connected to a world of darkness and sin. He knows she is more than she seems, and he vows to uncover all of Georgiana's secrets, laying bare her past, threatening her present, and risking all she holds dear . . . including her heart.

Love the world building

Beautifully crafted as always. Although my favorite part of this book is seeing the return of so many of my favorite characters! I absolutely loved to see them all interact and get glimpses into how they’re doing!

Scoundrel surprise

Enjoyed immensely how Chase was revealed and the problems she was facing relevant to that era. At times, the plot seemed long and drawn out. I was also annoyed that each time West & Chase got intimate and close, he walks off and cuts the tie until they both can’t resist the connection again. That got old after couple repeats.
But I loved the way all the previous characters are interwoven and given places in Chase’s love story. I suspected Chase was a girl by the 3rd series but was totally surprised that Anna was Georgiana. Did not see that coming even when I wondered why Anna was important in every book.
Sad to see the Scoundrels and their unique wives leave but it’s heartwarming that they all live happily ever after!

Eh

I love all of the older stories she’s written, but this one is one of my least favorites. Duncan was annoying to me. Their love comes across shallow as well.
