A Christmas Carol - Charles Dickens

A Christmas Carol, one of the Charles Dickens' books most loved, was published by Chapman & Hall on 19 December 1843. It tells the story of old Ebenezer Scrooge (miserable, bitter old man without friends) and his transformation due to the supernatural visits by Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Past , Present and Future Christmas.
Charles Dickens is one of the most recognized celebrities of English literature. He is considered by critics the "founder " of the social novel , he portrays the lives of disadvantaged social classes and denounces injustice and prejudice situations.
His imagination, wit, mastery of the language and huge creative make him one of the few people deserving to be called genius.
