Is the cure for a breakup a hookup?
Marissa Duplei has one mission. Pick herself up, dust the ex off, and get dirty with someone else. However, sexy, inked-up, metal-musician Jack (what was his name again?) is not the average girl’s revenge fling.
Women throw themselves at Jack, toss their lingerie on the stage, and scream his name. Marissa has no idea of his public identity, and while she doesn't initially throw herself at him, she does go on to toss aside her lingerie and scream his name.
A one night stand gone awry.
A secret to keep at all cost.
A couple from two very different worlds.
A second chance.
Will it all lead to love?
'Jack Who?' is the first in the Silver Strings Series (G String Set) Rock Band Romance. 'Weathering Jack Storm' is second, and 'Snow Storms' is third. The Silver Strings Series will contain trilogies for each string on a guitar, and is kicked off with this G String Set.

Love, sex, and rock ’n’ roll
I should warn you that Romance is not typically my genre, so I am a bit of a fish out of water here – but never has a fish been so surprised and delighted – because I do love music and I do love rockstars. (I know… who doesn't?)
Gillis' deep knowledge of the music world shines through, Jack Who?, in dozens of subtle references from pre-hook up NDAs to background checks for red carpet events, which takes a fantasy situation and grounds it in a firm reality, keeping me captivated the whole way through.
As a southern girl, myself, Marissa (the protagonist) was an authentic Gulf Coast, girl-next-door, which was something I also enjoyed, the Biloxi-area not being a place that gets too much action in entertainment. Each new character and storyline slips in and out seamlessly, making the story seem like it could have happened to any of your friends, so you'll be cheering Marissa along in no time.
It's no surprise that Gillis ends the story with a massive hook that made me immediately purchase the second book, Weathering Jack Storm, because I need to know about Jack's… well, you'll have to read the book to get that spoiler.
Highly recommended as the winter rolls in. Grab this rockstar romance and curl up by the fire!
