Enjoy the Silence! (couldn't help it)
This is a great quick read. It doesn't require having read the Mistborn series, but I highly suggest it because like this story, the tension and characters are brilliantly brought to life. Few people can give a story a real sense of danger the way Sanderson does. By setting up rules and reminding of them subtly, he masterfully builds a sense of foreboding before pulling the trigger on his greatest skill; letting his characters react. It is in those moments of action they truly shine. Mr. Sanderson has shown a spotlight on a truly dangerous woman, her story will not disappoint.
