The History Of Herodotus

Herodotus was the ancient writer and reporter, whose personal life still remains unclear. He is believed to have been born at Halicarnassus and to have traveled widely, collecting and recording stories. So the collection that made him known as "The Father of History" is “The Histories”, his most famous work, remained a widely-read record of the ancient traditions, politics, geography, and clashes of various cultures that were known in Western Asia, Northern Africa and Greece at that time. He was the first historian who collected his materials systematically and critically, and arranged them into a historiographic narrative.
