Ida’s really big feelings

Starting school for the first time is always both exciting and scary, especially when you have just moved into a new neighbourhood the third week of September. Ida and Momma move from the country to a small city for the first time. The challenges Ida faces are enormous along with missing her animal friends on the farm. Ida is experiencing unbearable pain but for Momma she is experiencing elation. Ida has trouble expressing her pain partly because Momma is so happy and partly because she does not have the tools yet to handle these strong emotions.
