Publisher Description
Award-winning artist Eric Krimmel set out to create a photograph a day, every day, for an entire year. Working under a tight daily deadline he produced a body of work that includes 365 compositions.
The structure of this project included a few basic guidelines: strive for variety, use the camera not as a recording device but to express an idea, and include text with each photo that helps guide the viewer to the idea behind the work.
The collection is impressive and it's subject matter touches on social commentary and cultural issues, joy and tragedy, existential ruminations and mundane realities of life. There is a brief introduction and conclusion, and every photograph with accompanying text is presented on a double page spread for a total of 736 pages.

Rich and wonderful
This is a wonderful and contemplative journey through a year's worth of daily creative work. Eric Krimmel lets us stop by once a day to see what he found today, either around town or inside himself.
It is worth the trouble to stop by his studio everyday on the way home from work or school to see what he has cooked up.
Each page should come with a cup of tea or coffee, or lemonade in July, and a way to chat about the day's insight.
Inspirational
I had the pleasure of meeting Eric last year and seeing his project first hand. I was captured by the insight given to each day of the year through common everyday events. Events that people take for their face value are seen in a new, inspirational light, often given a comedic value for life itself has its moments that all you of can do is smile about it. Being an artist and having a love of photography, I find his work inspirational and I am glad to see it being shared to everyone.
