Wow!
I purchased this book after not being able to attend Malacka’s event a few weeks ago! Watching her IG live, it was something about her vibe that captured me. Needless to say, I’ve been attached to this book since the day I hit the purchase button. Not a traditionally styled book BUT it was a perfect compilation of her experiences, heartaches and outbreaks ❤️ Awesome read!

People have been asking me why I’ve been so into my phone all day, and I respond with, “I’m just lost in this book, I can’t get my head out of it!”. Reading this gave me a sign of relief. I’m not the only one who goes through loss and acts out, I’m not the only one who has to deal with adversities as great as being a woman in our society, I’m not the only one who lost a parent and felt alone; empty. Ms. Malacka so much of you is me and that makes me so proud. I’ve been wanting to read your book for a very long time now and I finally decided to buy it last night. When I say I was pressed! LOL! Really, you’re such a beautiful woman with such a beautiful soul. Whenever I get discouraged, I always remember to listen to your speeches. You feed me! You lift me up when I feel like I’m disappointing my mom. I haven’t met you, but I love you. You give me so much hope, I don’t want to another young girl from Baltimore, trapped. Shoutout to your wife, “you can snatch my wings, but I’m still going fly” that’s such a dope line. 💚

This is by far, the best book I have read in years!!! The real ness touched my soul. The world is not ready for Ms. Reed, but I am.
