A BIOGRAPHY IN HIS OWN WORDS This spiritual treasure is taken entirely from the recorded Satsangs and writings of Swami Amar Jyoti, including many rare Satsangs that have never been released, and intimate gatherings with devotees in America over four decades. Among the eighteen chapters are two chapters of devotees’ remembrances from India and the United States. 32 pages of color and black and white photographs taken from 1960 through 2000 make this the most remarkable book on His life and teachings.
His message is the timeless wisdom of the Himalayan sages in a language understandable to a modern world, regardless of East or West. He did not espouse any one path but taught that all paths lead to the One God and that we are all potentially children of light. - from the Introduction

Warm-hearted and Profound
This loving tribute to Swami Amar Jyoti is a brilliant compilation of what He shared of His early years and His own awakening, and His extraordinary explanations of the wisdom of the prophets. It's a warm-hearted and profound read.
Truth rings from every page
his review is from: Immortal Light: The Blissful Life and Wisdom of Swami Amar Jyoti (Paperback)
IMMORTAL LIGHT was gathered from his Satsangs (spiritual discourses) of 40 years. It reveals the incomprehensible greatness of Swami Amar Jyoti (1928-2001). With warmth and humor he gives delicious and entertaining details about his early life in India. His spiritual experiences in Calcutta, the Himalayas with other seekers, and practices are at the same time astonishing and very realistic, resonating with the truth in our hearts. The motives, teachings and feelings of Buddha, Rama, Krishna and Jesus are conveyed with the stunning understanding of one who lived their lives. The culminating description of his final and complete enlightenment is a treasure of simplicity and revelation. From the section of remembrances his yogic powers are clearly revealed through many, many stories from different countries including the USA. One person wrote that Swami Jyoti erased the pain from someone dying of cancer and the patient's doctors could scarcely believe that he needed no pain killers at all. Pages of photos of him throughout the book fill in details of his personality: completely natural, un-posed, genuine spirituality. It's the story of what we can be if we follow in his footsteps!
