APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
We haven’t read many contemporary romances set in New Zealand, but this one is an unqualified winner. In a Lifetime tells the story of a love triangle between university pals Ella, Sam and Sam’s best mate, Matt. From the opening page, we were enthralled—and we couldn’t really stop reading until we found out who Ella chose: charming Sam or dependable Matt? Ariadne Wayne creates beautifully real characters and brings Auckland and the surrounding countryside to life.

Awesome
Awesome read you won't regret it!
In a lifetime
This is a stupid book. I'm not even a third of the way through and can't get over the fact Matt never called Sam out for screwing the girl that he saw first and asked him to make sure she didn't leave. Sam was kissing on another girl at the time and Matt returns to him screwing the girl he liked. Ella mentions that her choice between the two as easy when she noticed Matt had disappeared from the party. For me, this doesn't make me like any of the characters so I can't get into the book. Matt's moping gets old really fast, Ella is extremely insecure, and Sam is selfish and self-centered.
Great book!
