Publisher Description
From Contemporary Romance Author Avery Samson comes a brand new romantic comedy full of unexpected laughs and the forever kind of love.
Astrid is lost. Not in the physical sense. She's approaching graduation and has no idea where to go from there. Maybe a good stiff drink or five can help her. So what if she just happens to find her way to a certain bar with a sexier-than-sin bartender? You never know, he could just have the answer to all of her problems. Wasn't that in a bartender's job description?
Parker has all he can handle. He's trying to raise his twin brothers, run a bar, and prepare for his dad to move back home after his stroke. He doesn't need even one more thing to deal with; his plate is full. But one look at the gorgeous woman sitting in the far booth makes him want to sweep that plate onto the floor and have his wicked way with her. Even if she is entirely too smart, too pretty, and too refined for him. A guy can always dream.
Can they survive blazing heat, unwelcome guests, handsy patrons, and a visit from SWAT? If so, they might just find the answers to what's next in each other.

Cute Story
This was a great story about ordinary people falling in love — no tragic backstories, no great epic agonies to resolve. Just two people who meet in the course of their daily lives and fall in love as their lives get tied closer together. Not to say it’s all smooth sailing, because there are roadblocks Astrid and Parker have to find their way through. I will say that I found Parker’s hot/cold attitude towards having a relationship with Astrid a bit annoying. She stayed patient with Parker longer than I would have. But it pays off in the end and we get a happily ever after.

Summer love
This is book 3 of this series and it easily stands alone. It takes place in New England at a small private college and its during the summer months. Astrid is staying in town so she can attend some summer classes. Her good friends are not in town and she is living in a cheap apartment until her dorm is available. Feeling sad and lonely she is drowning her sorrow at Parker's bar.
Parker has been crushing on Astrid for a while and he is friends with her friends so he is keeping his eye on her. When she gets sloshed, he lets her sleep at his apartment above the bar. Which opens Astrid's eyes to Parker's responsibilities and makes her realize she doesn't have to feel so alone. In turn it opens Parker's eyes and makes him realize that he can let people in while still caring about his family.
Parker and Astrid made a really cute couple. I love how open to Parker and his brother's Astrid was. She was feeling lonely and sad but by opening his heart to her, Astrid found something really special. I loved Liam and Ro so very much. They really made this story for me. I loved how Parker, and his brothers opened their hearts to Astrid and included her in their lives. I also loved Astrid's relationship with her parents.
