It was okay
Even though I’ve read half of In His Cuffs when I got the outdated version last year but decided to repurchase the new updated 10th Anniversary version recently, I finally finished reading it even though it took longer the second time around. As before, the first few chapters kinda dragged other than the usual first sexual encounter between David and Maggie was pretty hot. I’m not a fan of reading body clamps because I think it’s quite disturbing to read about how Maggie found it a turned on with pain and pleasure?!? I liked David though even if he was a little much but I admire how he always wanted to offer aftercare after he scened with Maggie. Like I said, I thought reading this again fully the second time around would improve my opinion but somehow, it didn’t change my mind because David and Maggie’s chemistry wasn’t as hot than Master Marcus and Julia even though I thought Julia was no gem either. Somehow the Dominant Masters like David, Damien, and Marcus are more interesting than their significant Submissive partners before they suddenly fall in love with them in a short period of time?!?
