출판사 설명
JUDGE. JURY. EXECUTIONER.
On a cold January morning, the killer executed Assistant District Attorney Mark Hasse in broad daylight. Eight shots fired a block from the Kaufman County Courthouse. Two months later, a massacre. The day before Easter, the couple slept. Bunnies, eggs, a flower centerpiece gracing the table. Death rang their doorbell and filled the air with the rat-a-tat-tat of an assault weapon discharging round after round into their bodies.
Eric Williams and his wife, Kim, celebrated the murders with grilled steaks. Their crimes covered front pages around the world, many saying the killer placed a target square on the back of law enforcement. Williams planned to exact revenge on all those who had wronged him, one at a time. Throughout the spring of 2013, Williams sowed terror through a small Texas town, and a quest for vengeance turned to deadly obsession. His intention? To keep killing, until someone found a way to stop him.
A Chilling True Crime Narrative: Based on exclusive, in-person interviews with the killers, this is the definitive story of how a respected community leader became a cold-blooded assassin targeting the justice system.Revenge Killing: From honored Justice of the Peace to disgraced felon, Eric Williams meticulously planned his revenge against everyone he believed had wronged him—one by one.Domestic Terrorism: The murders of prosecutors Mark Hasse and Mike McLelland declared open war on law enforcement, sending a wave of terror through a quiet Texas community and shocking the nation.A Killer's Accomplice: After the murders, Eric and his wife, Kim, celebrated with grilled steaks. This book uncovers her role in the killings and explores the twisted loyalty that fueled their deadly partnership.

Interesting read!
Will definitely read more of this author’s work.
Great Writer
She writes the best books.
Incredibly thorough
Since I live less than an hour’s drive from where these murders took place, we were barraged by news on a daily & sometimes hourly, basis on our local newscasts. Beginning with the 1st murder, all of the ABT coverage just didn’t seem to be relevant to this murder, yet it was touted over & over again. That disappeared quickly once Mike & Cynthia McClelland were killed. This book was completely riveting. I barely put it down for almost 2 days. This may have been the best, most comprehensive true crime book I’ve ever read. Kathryn Casey is definitely an author I will read again.
