In sight of the mountain
I love backpacking and setting new challenges for myself. I could easily identify with Anna. I know he descent down the ice was not the focus of the book but there were so many other emotions that could have been used to describe what it must have been like. After all the books build up to the adventure, it felt deflated in the brevity. Still a great story, thanks. G
Delightful
I loved this book. It was a treat to read about this young woman's story as I live near Seattle and see Mt Rainier often. This story was so thoughtful about what early Seattle & even cultural relations may have been like. Thank you for a wonderful read, beginning to end.
