The Oath

I met President Obama in person in Charlotte, NC and a few months later in Asheville, NC in 2008. He gave an incredible speech both of these cities as well. I met Mrs. Obama at UNCA in Asheville and was well impressed with her also. Their oratory skills are second to none, but Mrs. Obama seemed more personable. She and Mrs. Gladys Knight (McDowell), were amazing, and treated the gathering like old friends. To conclude, I will say that I am grateful for the words and truths in this inaugural speech. There is a difference between arrogance and confidence. I read President Obama’s speech and the words that led to his making an oath to us all, to our country, led me to feel the drop of ego, and the edification of leadership in a leader ready to obtain even more greatness out of an already great people, a great nation. Great read from the speech of an even greater man. Prepare to read and be inspired, inspired to be better for all people to be better for you.
Blessings... TW
