From New York Times bestselling author Deanna Chase comes the sixth book in the Jade Calhoun series.
Newlyweds Jade Calhoun and Kane Rouquette have barely said “I do” when there’s a disturbance in the shadow world that’s draining the energy of angels. As shadow walkers, Jade and Kane are pressed into service, tasked with the impossible mission of solving the mystery before any angels are lost…until Kane’s accused of poisoning the shadows with his incubus energy and his power is stripped.
Life goes from bad to worse when a lesser Goddess shows up, hell-bent on stealing the spirits of mortals in pursuit of a fountain of youth. Now it’s up to Jade and her coven to keep their friends safe, clear Kane’s name, and fix the shadows before one of them is lost forever.

This story is about many things going on at the same time. Angels are getting hurt, strange happenings at Kane’s club and more. Jade and Kane are off doing another investigation for Chessandra and strange things are going on in the shadows. Kane is going through some unusual stuff and Jade is trying to save some of her friends as well as help Kane. Demons are up to no good and there is a surprise element as well. Such an excellent story which will keep you riveted right up until the end where an unusual twist will be revealed. I recommend this book and the entire series!
Demons and Goddesses
This review is for both the audiobook and ebook. Wow, this series gets deeper and deeper. This was one of my favorites in the series. I really detest the angel Chasandra. I can't wait to see what happens in future books. I really think she's up to something. Kane and Jade had a wild ride for their assignment. It's so hard to write this review without giving anything away. I liked how the club has the portal and energy within it. For those who have been leaving reviews about the books seeming the same, don't give up. Give this one a try. You will be glad you stuck with it. The ending is to die for.
Love it. With each book the adventures just keeps getting better. I so enjoyed this book. I can't wait till the next one.
