Katherine Wolf grew up in a household where she was sexually abused by one of her stepfathers, She coped with the abuse with random sex and pills. She finally gets clean with the help of her best friend Lila. She gets a coveted internship with her law professor, and Kat meets Cole at the club they are celebrating. She`s stopped with the random hook-ups, but Cole is too tempting. She goes to Coleus place and realized that she doesn’t want to back-slide on her sobriety. Kat leaves Cole unsatisfied.
The next week her internship begins and she’s shocked to find that Cole is the opposing attorney. He although is delighted.
