One night changed an entire town.
I lost everything the night of the Hawk Valley bonfire.
The ghosts of my past kept me inside the town limits, though I dreamed of faraway places.
He was the town golden boy. Son of the mayor. Firefighter and local hero. I was the girl from the wrong side of town and still paying for my father’s sins. I tried to stay away from our local hero, but he kept popping up everywhere. He singed my nerves, but every time we bickered, I only wanted to kiss him.
The unexpected passion between us turned into a blazing inferno. A promise of only one night turned into two. Until we couldn’t stop.
I thought there was nothing left to lose.
But when the past came back to burn us, I realized I never knew what I had...

Being back in Hawk Valley with the Burn Series, brings you back to the tragedy everyone has faced.
Adeline makes my heart break for all she has been dealt. Having received news that wasn't wanted/needed on her birthday, spirals even further when she is rear ended. The only luck she has is bad luck.
Will her luck ever change?
Foster has lost so much like the rest of the town. He is a swoon worthy alpha, that wants to have a life he wants not what his family wants. Will he be able to get the life he wants?
These two are so different in all aspects of life, will they be able to overcome these difference?
This book was full of so much suspense that it kept me on the edge of my seat. I can't wait to read more of the Burn Series.
Inferno is Emma Renshaw at her very best! This third installment of her Burn Series brings to life the story of Foster and Addie, two people who at first glance are as opposite as can be. As their story unfolds we learn that these two have courage, compassion and loyalty in common. Together their passion burns stronger than either of them would have dreamed possible. Woven into their love story is the perfect amount of mystery and when all is finally revealed I was left breathless. I did not see that ending coming, but Ms. Renshaw wrapped all up beautifully. I can’t wait for the next book in the series to release.
A sweet slow burn
Foster and Addie’s story is bittersweet. Addie suffered an emotional loss at such an early age; it’s amazing she has held herself together all the years following. Foster found his true calling in life but it was at an event that others lost their lives. Their lives crossed paths numerous time but it isn’t until Addie starts hanging around Foster’s friends that he realizes she is everything he wants. Addie being the strong independent woman she is takes a little longer to realize that Foster is what makes her fully live her life.
This book has a HEA. It has the romance, steamy scenes, and suspense that we can all love from reading an Emma Renshaw book. Emma does such a good job at the interactions her characters have. I always find myself identifying my own experiences with the characters. It makes it so easy to get lost in her words.
