Influencing National Health Policy

Over more than two decades, thousands of Missouri nurses have expanded their understanding of the legislative process and advocated for the health of Missourians by participating in the MONA Missouri Nurse Advocacy Day in Jefferson City each February. This experience has sharpened the skills of nurse advocates in health policy and given legislators the opportunity to hear from the largest group of health care professionals.
