Don’t miss the eagerly anticipated epic new fantasy from Christopher Paolini—Murtagh!

The astonishing, masterful conclusion to the Inheritance Cycle, perfect for fans of Lord of the Rings! The New York Times bestselling series has sold over 40 million copies and is an international fantasy sensation.

"Christopher Paolini is a true rarity." —The Washington Post

Not so very long ago, Eragon—Shadeslayer, Dragon Rider—was nothing more than a poor farm boy, and his dragon, Saphira, only a blue stone in the forest. Now the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders.

Long months of training and battle have brought victories and hope, but they have also brought heartbreaking loss. And still, the real battle lies ahead: they must defeat Galbatorix. There will be no second chances. The Rider and his dragon have come further than anyone dared to hope. But can they topple the evil king and restore justice to Alagaësia? And if so, at what cost?

About time!!!!!

I remember buying eragon out of a scholastic book catalog from my school in middle school...I wasn't too excited just looked nice and figured it'd add to my library. Made it a few pages and fell in love. When eldest and brisinger came out I had them on pre order. My fav series by far. And this one is already on my pre order list. Cannot wait

Lacking Ending

Honestly after reading this I was disappointed. After waiting a very long time he finally released the book, and I happily read, but honestly the book seems to come to a abrupt halt. If the writer wrote faster I would have been fine with this ending, but after building so much suspense to the book it felt like a let-down. Again, a TON of the book was in Rorans POV so the author wasted hundreds of valuable pages on what seemed to be a different story while not pushing ahead Eragons (did I mention I really dislike Roran?). The only thing about this book that I was happy about was that a lot of my predictions came true (What the "vault of souls" was who would be the next rider etc..). I recommend that people read this book, but only because it brings (badly at that) closure to this fantastic story.
