Grey's Anatomy meets Sweet Magnolias in this steamy, small-town hospital romance series.
I don't know who I am anymore.
I thought I’d found a man who was right for me, someone with whom I could build a life . . . but all the reasons we should work don’t mean much when I realize that I can’t love him the way he deserves. And then there’s the other guy in my life—the one who broke my heart and ran away. The one I can’t stop wanting and needing. The one who makes me feel so alive each time we’re together.
When it comes to my patients, I'm an eternal optimist. Maybe that's why I'm determined to try for happily ever after again. As long as there's life, there's hope. And hope is all I have.
I don't know what to do.
I thought I'd lost the woman who haunts me, body and soul. I was sure that she was in love with someone else. I was prepared for the pain, again. I was braced for the hurt. But I was wrong.
I have one last chance with her. If I screw it up this time, I'll lose her forever, and if that happens, I know I'll also lose my only hope for happiness. I never give up on a patient. And I'm not giving up on us.
ABSO-FREAKIN-LUTELY WONDERFUL READ
This book, NO, this trilogy is ABSO-FREAKIN-LUTELY WONDERFUL...
You will cry (ugly cry), laugh, fist pump the air, you’ll even shake your head and some of the things going on in this book.
The chemistry between Deacon, Emma, Noah and Gram and Pop is phenomenal. I couldn’t have asked for a better trilogy to read than this one.
I’m even looking forward to seeing Noah and Ashley’s story.
Again, ABSO-FREAKIN-LUTELY WONDERFUL TRILOGY.

SPOILER ALERT I absolutely loved the conclusion to Deacon and Emma’s story. No they didn’t have an easy road to their happily ever after, but it made their love story one fantastic read. From book one, I’ve been TEAM DEACON. Yes, I love Noah’s character and I love that Emma and him are such fantastic friends. I can’t wait for Noah to get his happily ever after. He sure deserves it after losing his beautiful wife, Angela. Please grab your copy of this book and see what leads up to the end. You won’t be sorry. I enjoyed Emma’s journey
So, after reading books one and two in the trilogy, I couldn’t not read book three, even though I was pretty sure who Emma was going to pick. To be honest, he was not my pick.
But regardless, I very much enjoyed Emma and her journey, so that’s where my four stars come from. The trilogy was well written and I loved getting to know Emma, as well as many of the secondary characters. Their journeys were just as interesting as Emma’s was. Although, the epilogue hinted at possible issues with one of my very favorite people!
I am definitely a fan of Ms. Kandle’s books, but I trilogies and triangles are not my thing. Not just from her, but from any author. I’ve tried and they aren’t for me. I’ll be watching for her next stand-alone release to buy, read and enjoy
