Len Fareham wags it off school after his brother has a fatal accident. Did he fall or was he pushed? Hounded by teen bullies his vulnerable teen bruv Jonathan ended up prematurely dead through no fault of his own.Did the bullies do it after all? Police attempt to find out but come to no firm conclusion as West Yorks spirals into violence and bodies of suspect deaths are found i rivers now and again. Could his possible assassins still be allowed to remain in school? The novel ends with Len and his mother still perplexed as to the permissions afforded by human rights given to criminals.... as it appears unlikely Len will face the classroom again, despite him being a promising GCSE student....
