Publisher Description
To celebrate the Andrew Martin Interior Design Review 2010, 14th edition, I wanted to invite an artist I admire and who works with the theme of books. I have been fascinated by the work of Peter Wüthrich for some time now. I had discovered and marvelled at his "Friends" books perched on the branches of a tree in the Solomon Foundation. So I suggested that he should rewrite the space enclosed by the walls of the East Wing of the Château d'Hauteville with his own work, giving him a completely free hand. With enormous generosity he accepted my proposal, and, little by little his book based art pieces came to be found mischievously perched in every nook and cranny of the castle’s East Wing. Jorge Canete The sale of this book supports The International Literacy Foundation (ILF), which is an independent, international non-profit organisation, founded in 2010 with the aim of tackling illiteracy globally and therefore improving living standards around the world.
