Fun Read
Internally Bleeding is a perfect light read: a typical chick lit book, but unique in that the main character is a medical resident. The book has just enough romance and medicine - and the author has a great sense of humor.
Interesting twist
Interesting twist in a story about an young doctor who is scared of blood....
Great Story
I was a little skeptical at first about the idea of a doctor who is afraid of blood, but once I allowed for the artistic license and realized that Baily was using it as an exaggerated metaphor for Zoe's insecurities, I decided to go with it and just have fun with the story. I'm glad I did! Internally Bleeding is a compelling story - set in a slightly heightened reality - about a first year medical resident, told with heart and lots of humor. Zoe and her friends are entertaining and Baily interweaves the story with medical knowledge, without boring the reader. A fast, fun, humorous story that I couldn't put down. I'd recommend this for anyone interested in trying a new chick lit author.
