Jasper
I cannot be reckless. I cannot be selfish. As the eldest brother, my job is to protect my powerful family's legacy, control the fallout, and never lose composure—a role I wear so well that most people mistake me for cold. And maybe I am. I learned long ago that love is weakness, trust is dangerous, and vulnerability gets people destroyed. So I keep my distance from everyone. Until she arrives. One look at the uninvited houseguest at Blackstone Manor, and I know I'm in trouble. Holly is inquisitive, defiant, and inherently dangerous to my family's deepest secrets. Worst of all? What begins as irritation quickly becomes an all-consuming obsession.
Holly
I didn't know what I was agreeing to when I accepted the Blackstones' holiday invitation. I only knew I owed them, and spending the winter holidays at their secluded ancestral estate was better than spending them entirely alone. I certainly didn't expect Jasper. He is unyielding, intensely guarded, and completely captivating. As a world-class journalist, my nature is to dig for the truth, but every look from Jasper threatens the careful walls around my own heart. I know getting close to him is a mistake, but beneath his icy control is a man who makes me want to risk everything.

Good story.
Unfortunately it’s a cliffhanger. :(
Wow
Soooo good. This book kept my interest from beginning to end. It’s so addictive. Steamy. A cut above the rest.
One Hot Christmas
I an ARC copy for an honest review. The story quickly introduces the reader to the Christmas family. They are extremely wealthy and they each seem to have dark secrets that they themselves don’t even know when or how they began. The relationship between Jasper, the eldest brother, and Holly, his sister’s former college roommate, sparks to life like a wildfire. They burn up the pages together. So as to not give any spoilers I look forward to the rest of the series as we unravel the secrets and sins of the Christmas family.
