Intro to Bodwéwadmimwen

The Potawatomi language has several orthographies, and depending upon which band or speaker the learner consults, the writing style will be different. As it is primarily a spoken language rather than a written one, it should not matter how it is written or if it is written at all, provided that it is being learned. For the purpose of this book, the words will be written in the style most common among Pokagon Band learners and teachers in the Southwest Michigan-Northwest Indiana area.
