"Life is in the Blood!"
The Blood of Jesus Christ I feel, is eternally important but often misunderstood and overlooked in the Christian world today. Reading this book gave me a new depth of gratitude for what Jesus actually did for me when giving His life's blood on the Cross of Calvary. "Life is in the Blood!" Truly understanding this statement founded in scripture, has been a key in my personal relationship with Jesus, in my daily life.
Why is the Blood Necessary
The author clearly explains the necessity of Blood, which is God's main provision for man to find Salvation. The author analyzes the Scriptures that describe use of the blood in the Old Testament and
demonstrates how that was actually a metaphor for the blood of Jesus Christ at Calvary. The author also discusses why the ancient Israeli feasts were so important for man's redemption from sin. I gained a greater understanding of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks, and the Feast of Tabernacles. It was all very enlightening to see how these relate to Jesus Christ.
