The battle for Britain rages...

As the fighting sweeps across northern England, Eddie Novak and his friends infiltrate enemy lines to help a desperate comrade reunite with his family. But the once peaceful village is now plagued by criminals and collaborators, men of violence who take whatever they want. Including children. Now Eddie and his team must journey deep into the heart of a hostile city on a dangerous rescue mission. Getting there will be hard enough, but if they want to get out alive, they're going to need a miracle.

Elsewhere, a coup in Baghdad threatens to unleash a global nuclear exchange. In Scotland, Harry Beecham has become an unwitting target for a rogue enemy faction, and in occupied London, Governor Spencer has seen the writing on the wall. And it terrifies her.
