Publisher Description

She's not your average crime fighter!

Ivy Malone has a curiosity that sometimes gets her into trouble, and it's only aggravated by her discovery that she can easily escape the public eye. So when vandals romp through the local cemetery, she takes advantage of her newfound anonymity and its unforeseen advantages as she launches her own unofficial investigation.

Despite her oddball humor and unconventional snooping, Ivy soon becomes discouraged by her failure to turn up any solid clues. And after Ivy witnesses something ominous and unexplained, she can't resist putting her investigative powers to work again. Even the authorities' attempts to keep Ivy out of danger and her nosy neighbor's match-making schemes can't slow her down. But will the determination that fuels this persistent, quirky sleuth threaten her very safety?

Impowered LOL( little old lady)

I just led a discussion of this Cozy mystery in our book club. The nine women liked it. It is about an older woman regaining her sense of idenity by re-engaging herself in life.. Her first job was a stake out at a decaying vandalized cemetery where some friends are buried! It is funny, the only complaint of a member was the main character infusing religion. But I thought it was just character development and wasn't preaching at the reader. It is first in the series of four. Oh yes, it also has some romance!

Enjoyable read!

I really enjoyed this book. Looking forward to the next one in this series.

Mostly good

Good primary character development. I enjoyed most of this book, but it sort of fell apart at the end.
