This book does a good job of introducing to you the fundamentals of objective c for iOS programming. I am a noobie programmer with a background in other object oriented languages and I found the book to be an excellent read from start to finish. There are many ways to solve a particular problem and it documents several of those ways quite well. It is logically structured, has a nice index for when you need to go back, and includes plenty of snippets of code. The writer's approach is to explain to you various concepts in detail and to build upon the concepts and examples from previous chapters. It should be noted that this is only the fundamentals of objective c for iOS, and the author intentionally leaves the more advanced topics to his other book to cover in greater detail. Overall a good read and highly recommended!
