Words Fail Me. So good...!
That’s all I can really say. The reveal was perfect and the battle was epic. Hard to believe that this is a side story. Oh the feels! Can’t wait for more!
Wonderfully made
Omori has once again amazed me by managing to maintain the main series, SO, and Familia Chronicles all simultaneously without a drop in quality. Without discussing the plot, the book has a fantastic way of showing the arc's plot from a variety of perspectives and utilizing the world-building that Omori has crafted in a way that does not detract from the book as a whole. Each chapter's main character shows growth on an emotional level, from overcoming pain through a decline into fury, to embracing their turmoil for what it is and letting it go. The resolutions in the book may not always be bright, but they are resolved in a way that fits each character's narrative and displays that life is complicated and does not always have an easy solution. By balancing this dance of happiness and pain, the night and day of emotional struggle, a twilight was born. A beautiful twilight that expresses the complexity of human emotions.
