For readers pondering their pets' sexual preference, Kreloff and Brown offer these and 25 other questions to help them sort out the answer, and cartoonist Roberts offers petite accompanying drawings. (The trio previously produced Pills for Cats: Finding Happiness through Modern Pharmacology.) The results include, for example, a picture of a flamboyantly attired tabby holding out a toy mouse disdainfully, with the accompanying text asking, "Can kitty sniff out a knock-off at 20 paces?" For all its light, blithe tone and its original art, this point-of-purchase parody fails to impress: it's expensive for an impulse buy, it lacks super-cute kitty pictures and it's about as funny as a hairball.
