As the horror of the man she married finally comes to light, is it even possible to truly entrust her love to another?
He yearns to fulfill the longings of her heart.
Ridge Claymoore was born a common bastard. Raised in a brothel, he's always craved something…more. The life of a spy runs through his veins, but even that has started to become stale and unfulfilling. When he's tasked with securing Isabella's welfare, he faces not only his immediate attraction to the copper-haired beauty, but his own growing restlessness. As intrigue and danger surround them, he has to decide if what he feels is strong enough to call love—or something even deeper.
A Wallflower Blooms
What a ride! Lady Isabella Wistenberry has been abandoned by her new husband. Ridge Claymore is an agent for the crown who is looking for Viscount Wistenberry, a traitor. When Ridge arrives at the White Horse Cellar hoping to capture Wistenberry, he finds only Isabella. He takes her with him to protect her and to lure her husband out of hiding. This is the beginning of a well-written and rousing story filled with intrigue, danger, and romance. It has twists and turns, secrets and surprises. There are spies, traitors, smugglers, and pirates. Isabella and Ridge have absolutely nothing in common, but the chemistry between them is sizzling. Opposites truly attract. The secondary characters are super. Mr. and Mrs. Hopper take care of them and give romance a nudge. Logan Montgomery, another agent, is here to work with Ridge. There is a lot of danger and action, but there are also some tender moments as secrets are revealed. I love Isabella and Ridge’s story. Don’t miss it.
