Island Time

Life in the Florida Keys managing the clock shop bequeathed to her by her sweet grandmother is a lofty ambition, but one Lynn readily assumes. She doesn't believe in soulmates and she certainly doesn't believe that she'll find one in Marathon. She left the cold northern climate of Indiana after her boyfriend Jeffrey dumped her. No -- she's sure love just isn't in the cards for her. A mysterious clock has other plans for the redheaded woman who has become its new owner. At the stroke of midnight, it takes Lynn back to a kinder, gentler time and the sweetest love she's ever known, Burton Trump. Unfortunately, it's 1935, the year of the Labor Day hurricane. From there things heat up and not just the Florida weather. A treasure map turns up, with an "X" marking the spot, just like in pirate stories. Lynn isn't sure whom she can trust. To make things even more complicated, it's become her aunts' life ambition to see Lynn happily married -- which is way better than her mother's only goal -- to drive her nuts.
