What European Teachers Can Learn from Each Other
Publisher Description
For many generations, rabbits have served as little helpers to explain the principles of genetics in biology classes. Keeping up with the times, a computer program has been developed to teach about natural selection, coincidental mating and the influence of climate change on populations.
The new publication “Teaching Science in Europe 4 – iStage” was developed of 20 teachers from 15 European countries; produced by the non-profit association Science on Stage Germany. It contains teaching materials for information and communication technologies (ICT) which relate to everyday life and which are relevant to secondary education in physics, biology, chemistry and mathematics. The rabbits project is just one of eleven teaching units about “Biology and Health”, “From Bicycle to Space” and “Our Environment”. iStage was proudly supported by SAP.
