Underrated antecedent to 1984
More rooted in its mid-1930s milieu but with surprising currency, It Can’t Happen Here demonstrates that it could have and indeed still can.

It is happening and fast!
A literary style of times past!
Written in a different time and different language ,difficult to read. Did not find the authors style comforting. Interesting parallelisms with what’s going on today but a stretch at best.
