Elizabeth is in love but she is too preoccupied to realise it and because she had built a wall round her heart for too long. At the local hospital, where she worked, Gabriel was brought back from the brink of death and Elizabeth helped to nurse him back to health as if her own life depended on it. Gabriel left the hospital to rediscover himself and Elizabeth accepted the inevitable. They quietly made plans for a life together but Gabriel's sudden death left Elizabeth with unanswered questions.
