How spoiled are the incentives?
As a someone who does not represent the healthcare industry or consider myself an advocate of "change" in the industry. I was pleasantly surprised by this book. Not knowing much about the industry I wasn't overwhelmed by medical verbiage while reading and found it quite surprising that I was able to follow along. I enjoyed reading this book in the style that it was written, which is essentially a compilation of notes and emails written by Francois de Brantes around real world situations, facts, and events. Francois has the ability to feed you nuggets of healthcare in short conscience notes and emails that don't lead to drawn out discussions about one topic. Here's the issue, here's the lesson, and now let's move on. If you are curious about reading what the current state of the healthcare industry looks like from the government, hospitals, doctors, and patients perspectives, and how Francois has presented plausible solutions to address several of the major issue facing the healthcare industry download this book.
