Izzy the Christmas Owl

Izzy is just like all the other young owlets. He likes to go out at night and wants to be wise. He loves learning important things like how to turn his head all the way around, swoop, and close one eye. Despite all he knows already, Izzy wants to learn even more!

One evening when Izzy is out for a fly, he happens upon a synagogue, swoops through an open window, and finds a scroll penned by Isaiah. After returning for many nights to read and learn, Izzy excitedly tells all his owlet friends about the biblical stories. When they make fun of him, Izzy flies far away to a cave where he decides to perch on a high ledge and rest for the night. But little does he know that he is about to witness the birth of Jesus and rescue his Savior from a dangerous predator.

Izzy the Christmas Owl is an imaginative retelling of the greatest birth in history through the eyes of a young owl seeking wisdom.
