Like a child’s school paper
Amateurish and besmirched throughout with typos, it is hard to believe this is considered a “book,” let alone a book about one of the most beloved and prominent authors of our time. There is a serious lack of transition between paragraphs, almost as though the author inserted them as an afterthought. But most irritating and nonsensical is a paragraph that criticizes Rowling’s opinions on American politics, because according to the author, President Obama is “the worst president in history.”
Perhaps factually accurate, but reads like a middle-school essay
Wow. The writing here has that stiff, pretentious use of overwrought descriptive phrases and lack of proof-reading that make me want to whip out my red pen and edit away.
