In this gay romantic sequel to the adult fairy tale book, Jack and the Magical Beanstalk, Jack and Sam have been living happily together on Jack’s prosperous farm with Jack’s widowed mother, Lorene, and the two farmhands, Zeke and Adam. When Sam started having nightmares concerning his father’s health, Sam became distraught and felt helpless not being able to go back to the land he was born, even though Jack attempted to find a way to climb back up to Sam’s native land. When Sam traded five prized bean seeds and a golden egg to the peculiar old man wearing only a red bikini underwear for five magic beans, he agreed to make their trade a secret and was unable to tell Jack. But Adam was aware Sam was dealing with the peculiar old man and blackmailed Sam into having sex to keep his secret. When Sam climbed the new magical beanstalk to help his ailing father, he was unaware there were two new villainous giants, Duchess Luscious Lips Loretta and Queen Buxom Bosom Belinda inhabiting the castle. Jack was left behind to save the farm after a late spring blizzard killed the crop of beans without any more prized seeds left to plant. Did Sam save his ailing father and brothers? Should Jack figure out a way to save the farm from ruin or follow Sam? Would Jack be in time to save Sam from the wrath of the giants? Jack had an idea for the jewels the giants coveted. But what was the secret of the jeweled grotto where Jack and Sam first made love?
Short, Sweet, and Sexy Read!
This second book in the series is every bit as whimsical and magical as the first. The characters are real and honest, sometimes outrageous, and they just draw you right into the story, making you believe in a world of magical beanstalks, golden egg laying chickens, magical musical harps, transgender giants, and naked human tribesmen. This book has a bit of everything from humor to lust to family to romance, and of course love. This story is a very provocative grown up fairy tale, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a short, sweet, and sexy read.
*I was given a copy of this book by the author and voluntarily chose to review. All opinions are my own.
Layers and Layers of Tactile Enjoyment ~ 5 Stars Gladly Rated
In Book 2, the story line starts evenly and with a smooth transition from Book 1. This story, however, has several added depths of new villains, new characters and new challenges. This delightfully spun fairytale demonstrates the author’s own writing style deliciously in steamy sex scenes and charming humorous banter and circumstances. It is an evenly balanced story with substantive descriptions and imagery so tangible, you will dream in technicolor about it at night.
I wonder if Mr. Michaels is an artist as well as an author as his colorful use of comprehensive descriptions comes so naturally to him and adds layers and layers of tactile enjoyment to all his books. The characters seem so real, yet we know they are fairytale charmers. Mr. Michael’s stories are believable, captivating and wildly entertaining.
This book comes affectionately recommended at 5 full stars. Buy it, buy the series. You will enjoy them all as they are all beautifully executed. ~MW
