Jake & Michael

Jake is 18, in Grade 12. He is an introspective young man, misunderstood by most around him and not really accepted by his parents and sister, Carla. He finds himself attracted to Michael, Carla's boyfriend, but makes no move to get to know him better. Michael comes from a wealthy family - where his parents buy him everything he may ever want, but cannot give him what he really needs. Then Carla needs help with the major production at school, so she recruits both Michael (to direct) and Jake (to act). In the process of building the play, Michael finds that there is more to Jake than he ever thought. He also finds new feelings awakening in him. The budding relationship between Jake and Michael may just be the thing that saves them both.
