I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
This is a wonderful start to a new series. I so look forward to the more of the Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain series.
This book is written in a dual POV format. I love that. I get the thoughts and emotions that both characters are feeling. It really helps me to connect and understand them so much better.
Emma was laid off from her job. She leaves her home in San Diego to visit her brother, Miles, in Mustang Mountain. Unbeknownst to her though Miles isn't home for a few days and there is a storm coming. Jackson is on his way home from town and sees fresh tire tracks to his friend's place. He sees an abandoned SUV stuck in the snow on his way. There on the porch is a woman plastered to the wall. A wolf is slowly approaching the woman. Apparently the wolf is some what friendly and Jackson assures the woman that it means no harm. It is then that Emma and Jackson recognize each other. Jackson takes Emma to his place to wait for the storm to pass so he can contact Miles.
This is a sexy read of a mountain man and his BFF's younger sister. If you like short stories and need to fill in a little bit of time, give this a try.
Love is worth the risk!
It took a storm to finally bring them together and a departure to make him see what he lost. He went to get his woman and make her his…no matter what!
This is my jam
I was destined to love this book in the first place. Stuck in a snow storm, older brother’s best friend, and a curvy girl? Sign me the eff up. I was rooting for these two from the meet cute. Very fun and satisfying read.
