Enjoy this stand-alone romantic suspense novel with over 50,000 words. If you enjoy it, you can continue following the characters in the Campbell Agency series.
Gwen Grange doesn't exist, as far as the world is concerned. She disappeared after her father was accused of horrendous crimes and has been presumed dead. In reality, she's simply living off the grid, surviving on her own. But when she comes across Jason O'Neil of Campbell's Agency in the unlikeliest of places, she'll be forced to come to terms with what happened to her family and become a functioning part of society once again.
Jason O'Neil is a veteran private detective, once scorned by love. He's focused on his job—working alongside his former comrades-in-arms and his military-trained canine, Thunder. His job is to investigate cases and find people who are lost. Nobody, though, is more lost than Gwen Grange. So when their paths cross, it will change his life forever, but Gwen comes with her own brand of danger. She also might be the only person who can open him up to the possibility of love again.

Love the story but hate series books.

Needs serious editing. The story line was good, the characters were interesting and engaging, but the writing was bad. When you have to constantly remove extra words or rearrange the order of the words to make sense or input missing words to fix sentences, it gets old. This book reads like one of those Mad-Lib word games.
