A crew of mannequins on a ship found adrift near the Farallon Islands, a crashed plane in Yosemite with more on board than is supposed to be there and an antique jewelry box that once held Dracula’s heart all point to an imminent triple-threat bioterrorism attack on multiple targets in San Francisco, including the President. Former disgruntled government agent Dr. Harvey Weinberg may be involved in creating the bioweapon, but as he says "I'm not mad, I'm just getting even". Jacqueline Duquesne and Inspector Scott Kozlowski become targets when they come into possession of Dracula's jewelry box and what it may contain. Why the face you ask? I couldn’t even finish! Way too many characters and incoherency! Mind you, I read the first two books in this series and it’s as if someone else (I obviously enjoyed the author previously) took over the trilogy (it simply can’t go on!) with nothing but the names of a few preceding characters!
Couldn’t even finish.
I’m not an author, and what courage and determination this one showed to get this far. However, the first two books really had me hooked!
