Get this before your tour of Jerusalem!
This book is an affordable, digestible, and well researched guide to the main sites in Jerusalem. It hits the main sites, as well as some off the beaten path and covers their history and important features. It does a great job of reaching back to the historic events of each site and then ties them to the modern activities surrounding the locations. Where there are conflicting views on the history, it is discussed in an impartial and factual way. An outstanding tool to carry on your iPhone or iPad in the city, or just as a comprehensive overview read before you arrives. Well with the cost and better than many references that are longer and more expensive.
This ebook is well organized
Having been to Jerusalem twice (the latest in 2010) I can't recommend this ebook enough for those who are going. If you are not on a tour, this ebook will provide information that will make your visit more educational. You will learn things that just can be easily missed. The guide includes colorful pictures to go with descriptions. Any serious traveler would appreciate this ebook.
