I have read a lot of books on Jesus Christ, but this is by far the best. The author has an amazing understanding of the scriptures and of the life of the Savior. Be sure to read foot notes at the end of each chapter.

For anyone who is looking to understand the depth of Jesus Christ as our Savior and Redeemer, Author and Finisher of our faith, this book is a treasure. I have read it four times over the last 14 years. Each time it takes me about a year to finish. Beginning with His role as creator of this earth upon which, millennia later, he would walk, teach, and perform countless miracles, this book beautifully illustrates how He left a PERFECT example to follow - from birth to death. From petty complaints and pathetic accusations of blasphemy from the ruling Jewish leadership of the time, to Satan’s efforts to abuse His godly power for self-service, He overcame all. He used His time wisely to teach crowds, admonish individuals, and navigate social and religious stumbling blocks places in His way. He overcame all. Including death itself. And He will come again when His Father declares it time.
