For too long, the teachings of Jesus have been selectively interpreted and utilized to reinforce existing power structures and conservative ideologies. This book seeks to challenge those interpretations, offering a fresh perspective rooted in historical context and a commitment to social justice. It is not an attempt to rewrite the Gospels, but rather to re-engage with them through a lens informed by progressive values and a deep understanding of the historical and social realities of Jesus's time.

By examining Jesus’s interactions with the marginalized, his critique of wealth and power, and his advocacy for the oppressed, we can uncover a message that is far more radical and revolutionary than many traditional interpretations allow. This work argues that a genuine understanding of Jesus requires a critical evaluation of how his words and actions resonate with contemporary issues of social justice. It is a call to reconsider long-held beliefs and to engage in a more thoughtful and honest examination of the implications of his teachings.
