Beginning to end, I couldn’t put it down! And was a great story, and great whodunnit! Loved it, especially with a Christmas theme

I loved the characters and the way they intereacted. The story line was unique. I look forward to reading more of the books in this series.

I was wondering what happened to the girl after her so called adopted father died.

Steve Smiley and Heather McBlythe are two phenomenal investigators… He’s blind, but all of his other senses are heightened, and she’s a fabulously wealthy lawyer who has a natural tendency to intimidate (interrogate) everyone. Together, they make a great team.

This is my second Smiley & McBlythe Mystery and I’m looking forward to the next Bruce Hammack novel, Pistols and Poinsettias. The mystery series is funny, entertaining and fast-paced.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Great book and an enjoyable read with some surprising plot twists. Planning to read more in this series.
