Yep, that's me. You're probably wondering how I got into this situation. Not by choice, I can tell you that! It started when my weirdo classmate, Chiba, tried to save me from a runaway truck and got us both killed instead. Idiot. Then we got transported to another world, which I guess is like an otaku dream come true, or something? Chiba ends up with cheat abilities, and what do I get? Nothing! Lucky me, I get to be a sex worker instead. Gotta earn money somehow — but since I have to do it, I'm gonna kick ass at it. This world treats women even worse than the one we came from, so things get...rough. Still, I've made friends with some of the girls, and if I can juggle Chiba's idiocy and Sumo the virgin's emotions on top of all the various kinks my customers throw at me, things will be all right...won't they?

Not bad at all.
I started off with the manga. And I was disappointing in her and didn’t really feel I could connect with a character like this I thought for sure she would have some cheats that would give her a ability of some sort, but it didn’t seem like she got any. But this light novel in it’s said she takes vengeance for something that happens to a friend. So curious to find out how she would do that. Boy did she ever and you will have to find out for yourself how she did it. At that moment I had a great amount of respect for
Her. I Just wish she had done it sooner but I know know why she took on the roll of a sex worker. It was the best thing for her and how she gets revenge. Let’s just say I wouldn’t want this girl angry at me.
First Light Novel
I mainly watch anime adaptations but when I heard about JK Haru I decided to give it a shot since I figured it would never be adapted.
My big take away is that this won’t be for everyone. That said, I absolutely loved it. Unlike most Isekai stories, everything about this was realistic. People were multidimensional, the protagonists weren’t perfect and OP, the world didn’t exactly mirror our typical societal values, etc.
Anyway, you’re not getting a feel good, power fantasy story but you’re getting a real story with people that I can actually believe exist in another world.
